How to Fix a LEGO® Sticker

You have a LEGO® part with a crooked sticker. Maybe you slipped putting it on, maybe you received it that way, maybe your kid is devastated, sobbing through their tears because “It’s RUINED!”

This sticker is not only crooked but has another sticker underneath it. You can see it on the right side through the slit.

Let me introduce you to Un-Du, your new favorite tool. I originally learned about it through scrapbooking because it can be used to reposition any pregummed sticker, including removing a postage stamp from an envelope.

Un-Du Adhesive Remover

The way this super cool product works is that you drip a few drops of Un-Du on the edge of the sticker and wait a second or two. It’s really fast.

Gently work the fluid under the sticker edge using the spatula attachment attached to the bottle. The sticker will start to darken and lift away. Drip a little more as you go. Like MAGIC the adhesive releases, staying attached to the sticker.

Within a few seconds, you have a sticker in one hand and a totally clean part with NO residue in the other.

But WAIT! There’s MORE!

Wave the sticker in the air for a few more seconds to let the Un-Du dry. Guess what? It is now sticky again! Put it back on the part exactly where you want it. Magic, I tell ya.

After

Un-Du comes in several sizes. I like the small one because it is easier to control the flow, and the smaller sized spatula tool works best for my purposes. I use the big one to refill my small bottles.

You can buy Un-Du most places that carry scrapbooking supplies, at some hardware stores, and online at:
